Refund and Returns Policy

At Luxzagap, every bookshelf is handcrafted with care and inspected before shipping. We stand behind our quality, but because wooden furniture is heavy and requires careful handling, we apply clear return conditions so that both you and our team are protected.

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery. After this period, returns are not accepted.

Conditions for an Accepted Return

For a return to be accepted, the product must remain in original condition. That means no scratches, cracks, stains, or other visible signs of misuse. All parts that came with your bookshelf — including shelves, hardware, screws, assembly tools, and the instruction manual — must be included in the return package.

Because our bookshelves are large and heavy, proper packing is critical. We require that the item be repacked securely, preferably in the original crate or reinforced carton we provided. This protects the bookshelf during the return trip. A valid order number or invoice is also required to process the return.

If any of these conditions are not met — for example, if parts are missing, the wood shows signs of assembly damage, or the bookshelf is returned in unsafe packaging — we may refuse the return entirely or deduct the cost of repairs/replacements from the refund.

When We Take Responsibility

If your order arrives in a condition that is clearly our fault, we cover everything. This includes situations where the bookshelf was damaged in transit (such as cracked wood, broken shelves, or severe scratches), contains a manufacturing defect (like faulty joints or incorrect assembly holes), or you were sent the wrong product.

In these cases, Luxzagap provides a prepaid return shipping label and arranges pickup at no cost to you. Once the product is returned to our workshop, you may choose between a full refund (including the original $150 shipping fee) or a brand-new replacement if the item is in stock.

When It’s Your Decision

You may also decide to return the bookshelf even if nothing is wrong with it — for example, if it doesn’t fit your space, or you simply changed your mind. These returns are allowed within 30 days of delivery, but in this case, the customer pays all return shipping costs.

Because bookshelves are large and heavy, you must use a tracked freight service and pack the product carefully. If the return arrives in good condition and passes inspection, we will refund the product price only. Please note that the original $150 shipping fee is non-refundable in these situations.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Some products cannot be returned under any circumstances. These include:

  • Custom orders, such as special sizes, finishes, or engraved designs, since these were made specifically for you.

  • Final sale or clearance items, which are sold at a discount and marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase.

  • Products that are damaged after delivery due to incorrect assembly, improper use, or poor repacking when shipped back to us.

In short: if the issue is our responsibility, we cover everything. If the issue is your decision, you may still return, but you cover shipping. If the item falls into the not eligible categories, a return cannot be accepted.

Refund Process

Refunds are processed within 5 business days after the returned item passes inspection. The refund will be sent directly to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, PayPal). An email confirmation will be sent once the refund is issued. Please note: banks may take 3–7 business days to show the funds in your account.
