A fascinating illusion that anyone can perform. The wooden ghost coin will appear to pass through a solid wood dowel.The effect:There is a solid wood box with a slot cut through the length and a round hole passing through the middle , a flat grooved wood plate that will hold the coin, and a wood dowel or post. It can be shown that the coin when inserted in the plate will easily pass through the slot in the box. However, when the post is inserted into the middle, the plate is stuck and cannot pass?. at least at first? but then magically the ghost coin passed right through the post and out the other side.
